If you would like us to sponsor or purchase advertising for your event or organization, please complete this Sporthorse Saddlery Donation/Sponsorship Request and submit it to us at least 4 weeks prior to the event. We’d love to say yes to every request, but, like you, our budget limits our ability to do everything we’d like to.
When we review sponsorship and advertising requests, we consider the following:
  • How is the sponsorship/advertisement going to benefit and/or grow our equestrian community?
  • Are we reaching our target group of eventers, dressage riders, hunter and/or jumpers in Michigan?
  • Does the requestor shop with/support Sporthorse?
  • What opportunities will the sponsorship offer us for sales and /or advertising?
  • Have prior sponsorships/advertisements helped strengthen our relationship with the requestor?
  • Is the sponsorship/advertisement going to help a person or organization with a very special need?

We can offer the most value through gift certificate donations. For example, we can generally offer $200 in gift certificates annually to area school equestrian teams. The team can convert that donation to $200 in cash to offset their expenses by selling the gift certificates (in $10, $25 or $50 denominations) to members or anyone else of their choosing. It’s a win-win situation-we’re able to offer the team or club more support, and the gift certificates bring more traffic into the store.
